Sastra Dana: Chris, here you are at the Hare Krishna Temple, could tell us how did you get here?

Chris: This lady had me help her do something at this hotel, Best Western, in downtown. As I walked inside there was an Indian man who owns the place. I looked to my right and I saw a rack of books. I wasn’t sure what it was, but they had something to do with spirituality, Hare Krishna. I asked the gentlemen if I could have some, and he said no problem, that’s how I found ‘em…

Sastra Dana: Do you remember witch book, or books you picked?

Chris: I remember one of them. It was Path of Perfection. The other one was called…tran…scend…transcendance, something…

Sastra Dana: …Civilization and Transcendence..?

Chris: Yeah, that was it…those two books, and I read ‘em…and ever since then I got interested in what it was talking about, so I decided to come here and learn a little more about it.

Sastra Dana: What did you think of the books?

Chris: They were wonderful, because they are teaching me about the soul, and mainly about God, and about how we, as human beings, live our lives here, and how we can make it better. Right now I’m kind of going though a spiritual journey in my life, and everything in my life is changing, I’m trying to get to know myself, and most of all God within me.
