Of Purifiers Krishna is the Wind

After a very nice harinam in Santa Monica (Los Angeles), I was walking to my car and the handle to my harmonium broke. I figured I should make the best of it. So I put the invitation cards and books on top of the harmonium and carried it like a table, hoping people could then take the books from there. One invitation card blew away and I thought, “well, at least it might fly into the life of someone who will want it”.

At the next stop light, I noticed that one of the two girls walking behind me was carrying an invitation card. I approached her to see if she had any questions about visiting the temple. She seemed a little surprised, and explained that just earlier today she had come across the same invitation card in her car, and now this one blew right to her as she was walking!

She then told me that she used to eat prasadam at UC San Diego when devotees would bring the food to her campus and she had not yet been to the temple in Los Angeles. Krishna works in mysterious ways and it seems that once we start to serve Him (even by taking prasadam) He will find ways to keep us engaged in His service.
